Sorry for the lack of updates, but I've been very busy. I don't only want to post pictures of celebrities and thanks to The Sartorialist I have found some pictures of non-famous people, who look uber-stylish! My personal favorite is the woman in the black leather jacket and the striped sweater. It's so rock and roll!

The Olsen-twins have set several trends, whether you like it or not: it's a fact. To be honest, Ashley and Mary-kate are kind of my biggest fashion icons. Although I don't like everything they wear, I think they fit perfectly in the Rebel Chic box.

A hat is a headcovering. In the past, hats were an indicator of social status. Now a hat may be worn for protection against the elements, for religious reasons, for safety or as a fashion accessory (and maybe for protection against paparazzi?) But the hat is back, we've spotted several celebrities wearing one.

Who wore it best? Ashlee, Mischa or Vanessa

You can't deny it: Ray Ban wayfarers are hot! Wayfarers enjoyed early popularity in the 1950s and 1960s, especially after they were worn by Audrey Hepburn in the 1961 movie Breakfast at Tiffany's. Though the sunglasses had faded from the limelight by the 1970s, a lucrative 1982 product placement deal brought Wayfarers to their height of popularity. Wayfarers are sometimes cited as the best-selling design of sunglasses in history.

Wayfarers were brought back into fashion in the mid-2000s when celebrities including Chloë Sevigny and Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen began wearing vintage frames. Ray-Ban designers soon noticed that vintage Wayfarers were commanding high prices on eBay, and the 2007 re-introduction of the original Wayfarer design aimed to respond to the demand. You can find the wayfarer sunglasses in different colors, but most seen are still the black ones.
